Dents Vanish repairs your vehicle using a process called Paintless Dent Repair, or “PDR” for short. Paintless Dent Repair, though not widely known, is not a new process. Mercedes Benz is credited with being one of the first to use this process to remove small dings while new vehicles were on the assembly line. Simply put PDR is the process of patiently massaging a dent from the back of the panel, (sometimes from the front) using specialized tools and a trained eye until the damage has been reversed. We do NOT “pop” dents out. Compared to conventional body shop repairs which first grind the paint and factory anti-corrosive materials off the panel, use pins that are welded to the panel to pull the dent, fill the low areas with body filler, (also know as Bondo), and finally prime and repaint the panel. PDR is as close to the dent never happening as you can get for non collision damage.
